The Academy Building
The site has been used for education purposes since 1874 with the construction of the Academy building.
In 1905 it was taken over by the Loreto Sisters and was used as a Convent and Convent School. In 1925 it became known as St. Mary's.
Early 2011 saw the closure of the school and a new school built on the Monivae College site Ballarat Rd.
THE LORETO SISTER'S ESTATE
Mackkcon Homes latest project will transform the former St. Mary's School site into a 30 plus home development for active retirees.
Downsizing not Downgrading - Aimed for those looking for a low maintenance home close to the city centre. These homes will be designed keeping in mind the people who are not ready or not prepared to go into an aged care but for people who appreciate the finer things in life in their retirement.
Until our new website is set up for the estate we will keep you updated on the progress and design of this exciting new adventure for Mackkcon Homes and Hamilton.
